Polite Puppy
Entry Fee €7.50 + P & P
Puppies under 6 Months
This category is for dogs under 6 months old or adult dogs who are less than 6 months in their current home. Your puppy or new dog must demonstrate any FIVE behaviours on cue/command, which clearly show that he or she understands what you want. Examples of behaviours are, Sit, Stay, Down, Give paw, come and leave it. These are just ideas; you are free to be as creative as you like.
Garden Agility
Entry Fee €7.50 + P & P
Dogs of all ages.
Your dog must demonstrate any FIVE agility style behaviours on cue/command, which clearly show that he or she understands what you want. Examples of agility behaviours are bar jump, tunnel, weave poles, go around an object, stay on a platform and walk an A-frame or walk a plank. These are just ideas; you are free to be as creative as you like. Strictly conventional agility is not necessary you can simply make an obsticle course for your dog. For dogs under 18ths and older dogs, jumps much be keep very low and weave poles spaced well apart.
Basic Obedience
Entry Fee €7.50 + P & P
Dogs of all ages
Your dog must demonstrate any FIVE Obedience style behaviours on cue/command, which clearly show that he or she understands what you want. Examples of obedience behaviours are SIT, STAY, DOWN, LOOSE LEAD WALKING, RECALL, HEEL, but these are just ideas; you are free to be as creative as you like. Strictly conventional competition obedience is not necessary. We just need to see that your dog understands your verbal cue or your hand signal.
Loose Leash Walking

In this category you will need to have someone video you and your dog walking (you can use a stand for your phone either), The video must show you and your dog walking 10 paces away from the camera and 10 paces back. The dog must stay close to you with no tension on a leash.
Super Stay
Dogs of all ages
Entry Fee €9.50 + P & P
In this category, you will need to have someone video you and your dog (you can use a stand for your phone either), The video must show you with your dog asking him/her to Stay/Wait. Your dog can be sitting,standing or in a down position. Then you are required to walk away from your dog at least 10 paces, stay in that position for a count of 5seconds and then return to your dog. Your dog must remain in the start position until you return.
Dance Champ
Dogs of all ages
Entry Fee €12.50 + P & P
In this category, you and your dog will need to be in the video together. You need to put at least 5 tricks/behaviours to music. You can get some ideas by watching 'canine freestyle' videos on YouTube.
This is a fun category so just go for it and enjoy dancing with your dog!
Junior Handler

Entry Fee €6.50 + P & P
This category is for children under 16years. The junior handler must be able to ask for and receive 5 behaviours on cue/command. Using treats as a lure is acceptable for this category.
Best Rescue
Dogs of all ages
Entry Fee €7.50 + P & P

Novelty
Dogs of all ages
Entry Fee €7.50 + P & P
The First level of our Trick Stars category is Novelty Trick Star, your dog must demonstrate any 5 novelty behaviours on cue/command, which clearly show that he or she understands what you want. Examples of novelty behaviours are, give the paw, rollover, spin, sit. These are just ideas; you are free to be as creative as you like.
Super Trick Star
Dogs of all ages
Entry Fee €9.50 + P & P
The Second level of our Trick Stars category is Super Trick Star, your dog must demonstrate any 10 novelty behaviours on cue/command, which clearly show that he or she understands what you want.
Mega Trick Star
Dogs of all ages
Entry Fee €12.50 +P & P
The Third level of our Trick Stars category is Mega Trick Star, your dog must demonstrate any 20 novelty behaviours on cue/command, which clearly show that he or she understands what you want.
Ultra Trick Star
Dogs of all ages
Entry Fee €20.00 + P & P
The Fourth level of our Trick Stars category is Ultra Trick Star, your dog must demonstrate any 50 novelty behaviours on cue/command, which clearly show that he or she understands what you want.
Supreme Trick Star

Entry Fee €25.00 + P & P
The Fifth level of our Trick Stars category is Supreme Trick Star, your dog must demonstrate any 100 novelty behaviours on cue/command, which clearly show that he or she understands what you want.
How do I apply
Video your dog or puppy demonstrating your chosen behaviours required for the category you are entering.
Send us your video, either via the Facebook page or emailing us onlinedogshow@mail.com
Once we review your video, we will either -
1. Reply to suggest improvements. However, we are not looking for perfection, just happy dogs having fun learning to connect with their owners, so we won't be too strict.
2. Reply to congratulate you, send a link for payment and get your rosette posted out to you.
What does it cost?
The entry fee varies depending on which category you enter, this is due to the rosettes being more ornate for the more difficult categories.
But don't worry ... you will not have to pay until your video has been successfully assessed and you confirm that you would like a rosette posted out to you.
